Dear Prospective Families,

Welcome to Cathedral, a place where academics and faith intersect to create a nurturing and challenging environment for all students. As the principal, it is my personal goal to foster a community of faith dedicated to disrupting inequalities through academic excellence. Our commitment to providing a rigorous academic experience for all, especially to historically marginalized groups, is unwavering. We believe that every student is a scholar capable of greatness, and it is our mission to help them recognize their unique gifts and talents, ensuring they feel valued and view themselves as lifelong learners dedicated to continuous growth.

At Cathedral, our faculty is deeply committed to improving the academic achievement of our scholars. We believe this work is best accomplished through our dedication to continually enhancing our teaching practices, setting high expectations, and providing rigorous academic challenges. Our goal is to equip students with the skills they need to become independent learners capable of tackling complex work.

Our scholars are expected to make a lasting impact on their communities and their influence can be seen right here at Cathedral. Responding to their desire for more challenging coursework, we have expanded our curriculum to include 13 Advanced Placement (AP) courses that start as early as 10th grade. This type of initiative and drive continues to fuel ways for us to challenge our scholars.
