Through these internships and leadership programs, Cathedral scholars received real-world professional experience, networked with experts across a variety of industries, learned critical skills for college, and explored potential career paths!
Fidelity Investments
Ten Cathedral scholars interned with Fidelity Investments this summer. Since 2011, Fidelity Investments has invited Cathedral scholars to apply for the Summer Fellowship Program, in which they learn about different career paths, network with professionals, and build critical real-world skills.

WilmerHale
This summer, three Cathedral scholars had the opportunity to participate in WilmerHale’s Summer Leadership Institute. This five-week paid internship program provided real-world exposure to careers in law, business, human resources, information technology, and more at this leading global law firm. Our scholars networked with lawyers, worked one-on-one with mentors, attended live court hearings, and took classes to hone their writing skills, increase their knowledge of civil rights, and unlock their creativity. The program commenced with each intern presenting to a room full of WilmerHale employees, family, friends, and members of our Cathedral community.

Cannistraro
Two scholars interned with Cannistraro, a leading construction firm based on Boston’s Seaport! On scholar had a multi-week paid internship, and one scholar participated in the Heavy Metal Summer Experience – a week-long internship in a working fabrication shop learning about all aspects of the construction industry – from building information modeling (BIM) to modeling – while exploring future career opportunities and receiving mentorship from master tradespeople in pipe and sheet metal.

Enjoy Life Education Leadership Academy
Eight Cathedral scholars participated in the 2024 Enjoy Life Education Leadership Academy! This week-long, high-energy program hosted at Stonehill College is an incredible opportunity for teens to build leadership skills, grow in community, enhance self-worth, and strive for success.
