Dear New Scholar Athletes,

My name is Mr. Derrick Beasley, and I am the Director of Athletics here at Cathedral High School. On behalf of the Athletic Department, I’m thrilled and excited to extend a warm welcome to each of you as you embark on an exciting journey with us. Whether you’re joining us for middle school or transferring from another institution, we are delighted to have you become a part of our amazing athletic community.

At Cathedral High School, we believe that participation in sports not only enhances physical fitness but also fosters important values such as teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. Our athletics program is committed to providing you with opportunities to excel both on and off the field, supporting your academic success and personal growth.

Throughout the year, our department organizes a variety of sports teams and activities catered to different interests and skill levels. From football to track and field, basketball to cheerleading, there’s something for everyone to explore and enjoy. We encourage you to get involved, challenge yourself, and make lasting memories with your teammates.
